Our heart is put into creating each delectable masterpiece, made just for you. To ensure that orders remain in the best condition, we have prepared a guide on how to care for it prior to serving. Please take a moment to review these essential instructions, as they will help maintain the freshness and quality of your cake until cut and served. Enjoy!
Transportation:
Before leaving, please check your order to ensure all details, colors, and spelling are correct. Minor corrections can typically be made before you leave.
When carrying your order, place both hands under the bottom board of your cakebox. This distributes weight evenly when carrying. Avoid squeezing the sides of the box.
Please arrive in a vehicle with space large enough to carry your custom cake. Large custom cakes may not include a standard box for transport or may be in an open box without a lid.
To transport your cake safely, place cakes in the flattest part of your vehicle: floorboard or SUV flat bed space is best. Because of the angle, placing your order directly on the seat is not recommended.
Be sure items are not stacked around your cake that can fall or slide into your box, and remember to avoid placing the cake near a floorboard heater or in direct sunlight.
Temperature Control:
To best avoid any sagging, warping, or melting, cakes should be kept below at least 72 degrees Fahrenheit. It is advised orders are not left in an un-air-conditioned environment, or exposed to temperatures above 72 degrees.
For best result, cakes should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, or any heat sources. During warmer times of the year, consider placing orders in a refrigerated environment until shortly before serving time.
Handling:
Handle your cake with care and avoid touching the decorations directly. Use a sharp knife or serrated blade when cutting the cake into slices.
For a cleaner cut, use a sharp knife dipped in warm water between each slice. Rinse off excess frosting from the knife in between cuts for a neater presentation.
Pickup Time Commitment:
To ensure a smooth experience for all our customers, we kindly request that you select a pickup time that you can commit to. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, you are unable to arrive within five minutes of your scheduled pickup time, please contact us in advance so that necessary arrangements can be made.
Once your cake leaves our bakery, we are unable to accept responsibility for any damages that may occur, during transport, or thereafter. If you do have specific questions about any care details, please don’t hesitate to ask!
